Etern Young Scholars Programme (益通小状元班) focuses on cultivating confidence and interest in Chinese language. It strives to build a strong foundation in Chinese through various interactive and engaging in-class activities.

YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAMME 1 (YSP 1: 学前小状元班 1)

Thematic Rhymes & Vocabulary: Through interactive in-class activities and rhymes, students are able to recognize, read and form sentences using the key vocabulary learnt in each session

Character Strokes Practice (笔顺笔画): Start off our students' writing journey on the right foot by introducing fun practices on Chinese character strokes and sequence

Idioms Exercise: Learn Chinese idioms through pictures and stories

Sentence Construction: Enable our students to use key words to form sentences to express their thoughts and instill creativity in our children

Storytelling and Performance (我是故事大王!): Encourage our students to confidently present themselves in front of others

Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音): Learn Hanyu Pinyin progressively in Term 3 and Term 4 (second half of the year) using Etern-designed learning tools

Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音): Give our students a headstart in their primary 1 preparation, learn Hanyu Pinyin effectively through Etern-designed learning tools

Thematic Stories, Vocabulary & Idioms: Through interactive in-class activities and stories, students are able to recognize, read and form sentences using the words and idioms learnt in each lesson

Sentence & Paragraph Construction: Enable our students to use key words to form sentences using the correct structures. Progressively, forming short paragraph of stories which is a great way to encourage children's creativity and eloquence
